ATTENTION: Transitioning Military & Veteran Aircraft Mechanics

We are seeking motivated transitioning service members and veterans to train and work toward earning their FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License in Wichita, KS.

This opportunity allows you to earn $30/hour while training in a 6-week FAA A&P preparation course through WSU Tech College with career opportunities available upon certification.

DOES NOT REQUIRE USING YOUR GI BILL

If you have military experience in:

• Aviation maintenance
• Engines
• Mechanical systems
• Other technical specialties

...that qualifies for the FAA Form 8610-2 sign-off, your background may transfer directly into this aviation career pathway.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be eligible for FAA Form 8610-2 A&P sign-off
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (written & verbal)
• Willingness to complete FAA A&P licensing requirements
• No initial tool requirements: will be provided during training to build your tool inventory
