Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op**Job Description:**Here at Entegris, we use advanced science to enable technologies that transform the world, and we are seeking employees who have the drive to continue the mission. **The Role:** Our site in Chaska, MN is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be full time, 6 months in duration. **What You’ll Do:*** As a Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting manufacturing operations and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced production environment. Key responsibilities include: + Participate in daily Tier meetings to monitor production performance, identify challenges, and support operational priorities. + Create, update, and maintain manufacturing work instructions and process documentation. + Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and eliminate waste. + Prepare and initiate Management of Change (MOC) documentation to support process improvements and operational changes. + Present proposed process changes and improvement initiatives to cross-functional teams to gain stakeholder alignment and support. + Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers on projects related to process optimization, productivity improvements, quality enhancements, and manufacturing best practices. + Collect and analyze production data to support decision-making and continuous improvement efforts. + Work closely with operations, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to solve manufacturing challenges. **What We Seek:** + Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline, with at least one year of completed coursework. + Interest in manufacturing processes, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. + Previous manufacturing, production, internship, Co-Op, or hands-on technical experience is preferred. + Experience with CAD/CAM software is preferred. + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. + environment and communicate with employees at all levels of the organization. + Comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting and managing multiple priorities**Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:*** Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering* Graduation year 2027, 2028 or 2029**Eligibility:*** Must be a currently enrolled student* Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June* Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co-op program* Entegris is not currently hiring candidates for co-ops/internships who will need, now or at any time in the future, Entegris sponsorship through the H1-B lottery.**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:**Ability to stand for long periods of time.
