Create a proactive performance-driven culture based on Focus, Collaboration, and Excellence.Monitor and confirm that manufacturing operating system standards are being applied and adhered to throughout the areaFacilitate the results process through the utilization of standard processes and toolsDevelop, coach, and support to achieve SQDCPME objectivesCoach, teach, and provide feedback on the resolution of abnormalities, and validate closure of concerns (facilitates interim containment actions)Drive continuous improvement on systemic abnormalities to prevent recurrenceProvide necessary resources to maintain production flow and confirm critical inputs are being performed to the acceptable standard(s)Plan maintenance tasks, monitor completion and effectiveness, and drive improvement and/or coaching opportunitiesDrive the creation and coordination of work plans (downtime, shutdown, and manage the change), and ensure the team is executing. Evaluate the effectiveness of work plansPlan and implement revisions and improvements to meet the new standards as the manufacturing operating systems matureEnable a culture of learning through the demonstration of effective communication skillsCreate a proactive performance-driven culture that listens, reacts, and supports (effective communication, education, listening, trust) to capture the hearts and minds of the peopleMentor, nurture, and develop teams to work together, modeling the Ford values and expected behaviorsEnsure basic administrative activities are completed, as requiredQualificationsEducation: Bachelor's Degree- in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related degree; or a combination of equivalent experience and education.5-8+ years of production experience, working in numerous departments5+ interfacing with plant hourly, salaried personnel, and plant managementStrong ability to present continuous improvement ideas to plant management, using data2+ years teaching an operating system and all its principlesExperience working in a Union environment, primarily interfacing with the unionYou may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice.
