Senior Manager, Clinical Data Management Redwood City, California, United States Overview Corcept Therapeutics is dedicated to the science of cortisol modulation and is driven to develop treatments for hypercortisolism and oncology. The Senior Manager of Clinical Data Management will oversee data collection, flow, and access across electronic data capture (EDC) and non‑EDC sources, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and CDISC compliance. Responsibilities Design and define data flow across EDC and non‑EDC sources and manage data management service providers to deliver high‑quality results on schedule. Develop processes that enable near real‑time data access for clinical trials and implement CDISC compliance for clinical databases. Review and assess data query resolution metrics and propose process improvements. Evaluate study protocols to ensure that data collection and CRF design meet study objectives. Manage SAE and external vendor reconciliation between clinical and applicable databases. Review clinical data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency in accordance with the investigational plan. Provide subject matter expertise to project team members throughout all phases of the project life cycle. Support the development and periodic review of data management SOPs, work instructions, and templates. Provide expertise during internal and external audits and inspections and maintain compliance with company and study‑specific learning requirements. Preferred Skills, Qualifications, and Technical Proficiencies Experience with relational databases, SAS, and clinical data management systems. Knowledge of CDISC/SDTM; hands‑on experience preferred. Hands‑on experience with mainstream EDC systems (e.g., Rave, Medrio). Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or R Shiny is a plus. Understanding of ICH, GCDMP, and 21CFR Part 11 regulatory guidelines. Strong project and staff management abilities for data management deliverables in clinical development. Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor’s or higher in science, mathematics, or computer science. 5+ years of experience in data management within the clinical trial industry (pharma, biotech, or medical device). Experience in IT-related fields and with oncology or rare disease clinical trials. Experience managing data flow, biomarker data curation, and CROs/vendors. Salary $170,550 – $200,700 per year, based on location, experience, and skills. Location & Employment Requirements Headquarters‑based position in Redwood City, California.
