Valtir is hiring Production Workers to support our Orangeburg, SC manufacturing facility by performing general labor aiding in the manufacturing and processing of highway safety products. What you'll do:

• Operate equipment and tools to aid in manufacturing highway safety products.
• Perform a variety of tasks as directed to maintain efficient production in the department
• Maintain a clean work environment through 5S activities
• Lift/carry materials of different weights throughout the shift
• Check tools and equipment in observance of safety regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Working environment:

• Conditions can be hot, cold, dirty, and noisy.
• The job is within a fast paced, heavy industrial environment and you may be required to work within various areas of the plant.
• Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be adhered to at all times. This includes safety wear such as hearing and eye protection, protective clothing and steel-toed shoes.
• Attendance and showing up to work on time are important to the success of the plant. Dependable job attendance is expected.

What you will need:

• Ability to life 120lbs continuously throughout entire shift
• Minimum of 1 year of industrial experience
• Reliable and predictable attendance
• Knowledge and ability to operate all equipment in that area
• Ability to perform all essential functions safely and efficiently
• Ability to function as a team member and establish and maintain effective working relationships
