Assistant EngineeringManager About the role: Assist theChief Engineerin all aspects of hotel and building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire & safety, HVAC refrigeration, interior,paintand decorating, and respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient,courteousand professional manner to achievemaximumcustomer satisfaction whilecomplying withall Four Seasons’ policies.Assistwith the planning, organizing, controlling,and directing the workflow ofengineering requests. What you will do: Assistin managing the team to conduct repairs and maintenance of the building as required by the operation or special projects assigned by the Engineering Manager. Assist in the training, supervision, counseling,schedulingand evaluation of performance and planning the activities of maintenance staff including making spot checks on a daily basis. Maintain close working relations with hotel contractors whoprovidereliable 24-hour emergencyservices. This position may also respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient,courteous,and professional manner to achieve guest satisfaction. What you bring: Minimum 2 +years ofpreviousexperience in engineering trades related to hospitality is preferred.Experience working in and supervising staff and leading teams in a hotel environmentpreferred. Requires technical knowledge of building maintenance and engineering trades. Ability tooperatecomputer equipment. This role has direct contact with guests and as such,good communicationskills are a necessity. Fluency in English isrequiredfor thislocation,and this job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the in the United States. Ability to speak Spanish preferred.
