Manufacturing Engineer needed on-site in Kenosha, WI to support high performance doors. Essential Job Functions Manages plans, directs, coordinates optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes Ensures processes and operations function efficiently, safely and effectively Troubleshoots operations, revises drawing and process sheets, verifies conformance, trains operators Evaluation of existing processes to improve process flow Researching automation techniques, testing new systems and planning layouts for optimization Coordinates launch for new, revised products, processes and equipment Follows Continuous Improvement and Lean manufacturing principles What we are looking for: Bachelors' degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical or Systems Engineering, or equivalent technical/engineering field. Masters Degree a plus. 3-5+ years of related experience, preferable in engineering 1-3+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing or assembly processes preferred Experience designing, operating, troubleshooting, maintaining complex production machinery Significant "hands on the product" experience with ability to recognize problems, predict potential outcomes and implement countermeasures quickly to avoid problems Knowledge and use of CAD software (SolidWorks is desirable)
