Job Full Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, handle transactions accurately, and ensure a smooth checkout experience for all customers.

Key Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide a welcoming checkout experience
Process sales transactions accurately using cash register or POS system
Handle cash, credit, and debit payments
Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges when necessary
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
Assist customers with questions about products or services
Follow company policies and procedures for cash handling and security
Support team members and help with other tasks as needed

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus (but not required)
Strong customer service and communication skills
Basic math skills and attention to detail
Ability to handle cash transactions responsibly
Dependable and punctual
Ability to stand for long periods and lift light merchandise as needed
