Regional Property Manager

Regional ManagerThe Regional Manager oversees the operational, financial, and compliance oversight of a large portfolio of affordable housing communities. This role will oversee an Assistant Regional Manager. The Regional Manager will report to the Regional Director of Operations. This role requires strong knowledge of Section 8, LIHTC, and other regulatory housing program requirements. The role provides leadership and guidance to on-site teams, fostering a culture of accountability, customer service, and excellence. Key objectives include maximizing property performance, maintaining high resident satisfaction, and ensuring all communities meet company standards and regulatory expectations.Key Responsibilities:Oversight of daily operations of multiple affordable housing communities within the assigned region.Ensure compliance with HUD, Section 8, LIHTC, and other federal, state, and local housing regulations.Monitor occupancy levels, financial performance, and property maintenance to achieve budget and compliance targets.Conduct regular site visits and audits to assess property conditions and team performance.Support and train property managers and leasing staff on compliance, customer service, and operational standards.Assist in the preparation of annual budgetsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field is preferred or extensive background in multi-family affordable housing.Three to Five years of progressive multi-site management experience in Project Based Section 8 and Tax Credit properties, including regional level responsibility.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and hold teams accountable.Demonstrated ability to analyze financial reports, manage budgets, and improve operational performance.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to travel regularly within assigned region.Preferred Certifications:Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS)Tax Credit Specialist (TCS)Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP)Benefits include company paid telemedicine, medical insurance, company paid employee dental insurance, vision insurance, short-term disability, company paid long-term disability and life insurance.A generous 401K program where the company matches employee contribution up to 5% of annual pay.
