Job Title: Logistics Manager

Pay: $30.00-35.00 per hour

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Manager to oversee warehouse operations for shipping and receiving HVAC and piping materials at our Montrose location. This role involves managing inventory, organizing materials, and overseeing a small team to ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage warehouse operations for shipping and receiving of HVAC and piping materials.
• Check in materials, take photos, and organize them on pallets.
• Operate a forklift to load trucks and handle materials.
• Oversee a team of up to 4 people, including 2 drivers and 2 laborers.
• Serve as the manager in charge of running the warehouse facility.

Essential Skills

• 3 years of experience in shipping and receiving is ideal.
• Must be forklift certified to help load trucks and handle materials.
• Experience from mechanical or electrical contractor backgrounds is most ideal.
• Knowledge in inventory control, warehouse management, and logistics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience handling HVAC and piping materials preferred.
• Experience in warehouse management for construction materials is preferred.
• Supervisory skills and customer service experience.
• Experience from companies such as US Engineering, Ferguson, Rampart, or Amazon is beneficial.

Work Environment

Work in a warehouse located in Montrose, approximately 45 minutes from Grand Junction. The environment involves handling HVAC and piping materials in a typical warehouse setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Junction, CO.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
