RN - ICU

Registered Nurse (RN) Intensive Care Unit

This position follows a clinical interview process. Candidates can expect outreach within two hours via phone and text where applicable. Decisions are typically made the same day or by the next business day. This role provides critical care to seriously ill patients in an intensive care unit. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing complex procedures. The nurse will respond rapidly to medical emergencies while collaborating with the healthcare team. Individualized treatment plans will be developed and implemented for patients. Staffing is typically 2:1 with the rare 3:1 patient-to-nurse ratio. Floating to other units may occur to take holds, and the nurse may also care for med-surge patients at a 5:1 ratio.
