UNARMED SECURITY OFFICER
Montgomery, Illinois Security Dynamics Corp. is a professional security services agency staffed by active and retired law enforcement officers. We hold Illinois and Indiana private detective and security agency licenses and operate with a law enforcement standard of conduct across all client sites. We are currently hiring for several open Unarmed Security Officer positions in Montgomery, Illinois. What We Offer
- Immediate openings with no delay to start date
- $22.00 per hour
- Holiday pay at 1.5x and 2.0x rates
- Paid leave up to 40 hours per year
- 401(k) retirement savings plan
- Flexible scheduling with consistent shift structure
- 0000 to 0600 hours all days of the week
- Saturdays all shifts (0000 - 0600 hours, 0600 - 1200 hours, 1200 - 1800 hours, and 1800 - 0000 hours)
- Direct and control traffic when circumstances require
- Provide first aid to individuals requiring emergency medical assistance
- Identify and investigate suspicious persons, vehicles, or circumstances
- Take custody of stolen, lost, or found property and forward it to the appropriate authority
- Assist the client with crime prevention initiatives and problem response
- Prepare written reports and other required documentation
- Complete all required training courses and certification programs
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Work cooperatively with teammates and provide professional guidance through example
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. SDC does not sponsor employment visas.
- High school diploma or equivalent required (college degree preferred)
- Minimum age of 21 at time of hire
- Possess a valid Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) at time of hire, or qualify for a statutory exemption under Illinois law
- No felony convictions in any jurisdiction and no crimes of moral turpitude (sex offender registration is an absolute bar to employment)
- Pass a pre-employment background investigation and online assessment
- Complete all required training prior to assignment
