Assistant Controller

Seeking a hands‑on Assistant Controller to lead real estate accounting for a growing real estate platform – spanning development projects, active assets, PE flows, and investment funds. Position Highlights - Assistant Controller: Manages financial ops and reporting across multifamily development projects, community property management, and investment fund accounting. Liaison with property management, asset management, external audit, and third parties Monitor development project KPIs, funding, and budgets People Manager experience to lead daily accounting activities Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Advanced degrees preferred) 8+ years of relevant experience (real estate development, PE flows, and fund accounting) US GAAP Demonstrated people management skills (coaching, mentoring small teams) Proficient in industry ERP + strong Excel skills CPA, CPA track, or CMA a plus!
