Senior Systems Administrator

Overview We are seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join our Task Order proposal on the Defense Intelligence Agency’s Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise III (SITE III). The Senior Systems Administrator maintains smooth operation of multi‑user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers. Responsibilities Monitors and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency. Performs systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts. Sets up administrator accounts, maintains system documentation, tunes system performance, installs system‑wide software, and allocates mass storage space. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Recommends purchase of hardware and software, coordinates installation, and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. Might be assigned responsibility for less experienced staff. RHCSA

RHCE or equivalent Windows certification Minimum 8–12 years of progressively responsible systems administration experience. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience). Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise, multi‑user environments in DoD or Intelligence Community settings preferred. Experience operating in classified environments. Work Environment and Physical Demands Location: Aurora, CO with occasional travel to Colorado Springs, CO Type of environment: Varies Noise level: Low Work schedule: Normal work hours (average 8 hours a day, 40 hours per week) within standard operational hours 0600‑1800, Monday‑Friday, excluding Federal holidays. May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs. Amount of travel: 20% Physical Demands The employee is regularly required to use hands to grip, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 10 pounds. Work Authorization / Security Clearance U.S. Citizenship Active TS/SCI + CI Poly clearance Wage Information Target salary range: $158,000.00 – $190,000.00. The salary range displayed is an estimate and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements.
