Demand Planner

Demand PlannerThe Demand Planner is responsible for developing, maintaining, and continuously improving the unconstrained demand forecast to support the company's SIOP process. In this role, you will partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Planning, and Operations to deliver a consensus forecast that drives service, inventory, and financial performance.As a Demand Planner, you will:Develop statistical baseline forecasts using historical data and analytics.Maintain rolling 12–24-month forecasts.Manage forecast segmentation strategies (ABC, product family, channel, customer).Ensure forecast accuracy and bias targets are achieved.Lead the Demand Review portion of the monthly SIOP cycle.Present risks, opportunities, and forecast changes to cross-functional leadership.Support executive SIOP presentations with clear data-driven insights.Drive consensus alignment between Sales, Marketing, and Finance.Identify upside/downside scenarios and model impact on revenue and capacity.Ensure forecast changes are clearly communicated to Supply Planning.Required Education, Experience, & Skills:3-5+ years of experience in demand planning or forecasting.Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.Strong understanding of MRP and demand planning concepts.Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, NetSuite).Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.Strong understanding of SIOP processes.Analytical thinking and scenario planning.Attention to detail with a big-picture mindset.Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or related field.Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.Onsite Work Arrangement:This role is based fully onsite, and not eligible for hybrid or remote work opportunities.
