Experienced Parts Counter Person
Berglund Ford Mazda is seeking an experienced parts counter person to join our team in Salem, VA. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of automotive parts and excellent customer service skills, helping ensure efficient and accurate parts sales and support to both our customers and service department.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in identifying and locating the correct automotive parts.
- Process parts orders accurately and efficiently using the companys inventory system.
- Maintain parts inventory by monitoring stock levels and coordinating with suppliers.
- Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to both walk-in and phone customers.
- Work closely with technicians and service advisors to fulfill parts requests timely.
- Ensure the parts counter area is organized, clean, and well-stocked.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a parts counter specialist or similar role in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, tools, and terminology.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficient with computers and inventory management systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
