Tax Manager - CPA and Advisory Services Firm We are a growing, top‑rated locally owned CPA and client advisory firm in the Jacksonville, FL area. Our practice serves businesses in logistics, retail, distribution, manufacturing, healthcare, construction, and more. We help clients maximize tax savings, achieve financial goals, and grow through strategic advisory, valuation services, fractional CFO support, and estate planning. Position Description The role is one–on–one tax planning and advisory for a diverse client base. The position includes the potential partner track in a rapidly expanding firm. Responsibilities Research and implement tax liability and asset protection strategies. Perform tax preparation (minor) and review work for multiple entities, including partnerships, C‑Corps, S‑Corps, high‑net‑worth individuals, trusts, and estates. Lead and mentor junior tax staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Collaborate with partners and founders on complex issues and strategy development for clients. Qualifications BA or BS in accounting, finance, business, or data analytics. 3‑5 years of public accounting experience, preferably in a senior tax role. CPA preferred or CPA in progress with the ability to sit for the exam soon. Proficiency with tax and accounting software (CCH, ProSystem, tax planning tools). Experience reviewing C‑Corp, S‑Corp, individual, HNW, and complex entity arrangements; ASC 740 experience is a plus. Detail‑oriented with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working with high‑profile clients such as founders, CEOs, and VPs in multi‑million‑dollar organizations.
