Job Title: Swimming Instructor
Responsibilities:
- Instruct groups or individuals in the fundamentals of swimming.
- Provide training direction, encouragement, and motivation to swimmers.
- Plan, organize, and conduct practice sessions.
- Explain and enforce safety rules and regulations.
- Monitor the swimming area and respond to emergencies.
- Evaluate swimmers' skills and performance.
- Adjust coaching techniques based on swimmers' strengths and weaknesses.
- Stay updated on changes in rules, techniques, technologies, and philosophies relevant to swimming.
- Communicate with participants and parents to provide information and answer questions.
- Keep and review records of swimmers' progress.
- Note: The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
Job Qualifications:
- Experience: At least one year of aquatic experience.
- Certification: Current American Red Cross Water Safety Certificate or Current Lifeguard Certification, CPR, and First Aid Certification.
