11B Infantryman - Management Training

Join the Infantry, the backbone of the Army National Guard. As an Infantryman, you will be the first line of defense in combat operations, responsible for taking or holding ground, attacking, repelling, and capturing enemy forces using advanced weapons and tactics. Responsibilities Assist in reconnaissance operations Employ, fire, and recover anti‑personnel and anti‑tank mines Operate weapon systems under various conditions, including engaging targets using night vision sights Operate and maintain communications equipment Serve as a member of a fire team during training and combat missions Process prisoners of war and captured documents Aid in the mobilization of vehicles, troops, and weaponry Use, maintain, and store combat weapons such as rifles, machine guns, and anti‑tank mines Skills Desired Willingness to accept challenges Ability to perform well under stress Physical and mental fitness Teamwork capability Training Infantryman training requires 14 weeks of Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training (AIT). Training combines classroom instruction with field exercises under simulated combat conditions.
