divh2QC Technician C (2nd Shift)/h2pQuality Assurance Auditor will be capable of doing routine to complex quality assurance tasks. Must have excellent ability to measure and test parts to specifications, electronically record data, and initiate corrective actions as applicable./ph3Qualifications/h3ulliA minimum of one year experience in a production/manufacturing environment is required and a Certified Quality Auditor certificate is preferred. Experience in plastic injection and/or blow molding is desired./liliHigh school graduate or equivalent, some related college preferred./liliAbility to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences./liliAbility to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance/liliAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions, Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations./liliComputer literate in Microsoft Office and experience with imputing data into dbases systems is a must/liliEnsure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary./liliCapable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions./li/ulh3Job Responsibilities/h3ulliCompletes operational lot control procedures and forms/liliArchives quality records and logs procedures/liliPerform in-process product audits in a manufacturing environment, according to product specifications and procedures/liliCreate and complete 1st article inspection reports/liliConduct periodic process audits as requested and completes necessary documentation/liliAssist shift personnel with quality issues and/or measurement techniques./liliAssist in problem resolution with customers as requested./liliMust be knowledgeable with startup procedures, customer specifications, cosmetics criteria, rejection report procedures, and end of run procedures/liliMust be able to complete and close a NCMR request, the DHR procedure, the deviation procedure, how to write and stag a customer return, and how to complete pre-production approval protocols./liliResponsible for accurate data input into databases./liliMust have knowledge of blueprints applications and the use of measurement equipment./li/ulh3Work Environment Conditions Subjected To In This Position/h3ulliWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.
