Embark on an engaging contract position that supports middle and high school students through the vital work of school psychology. This onsite opportunity is perfect for individuals passionate about facilitating student success and providing comprehensive assessment and intervention services in an educational setting.
Key qualifications include:
- Valid NCP license
- Current School Psychologist certification from the Department of Education
- Experience conducting evaluations and triennials
- Comfortable working onsite with flexibility to complete certain tasks, such as report writing, from home (pending testing and meeting schedule)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and educational staff
- Dedication to fostering a supportive environment for adolescents
Primary responsibilities:
- Perform a range of psychological evaluations, including initial and triennial assessments for middle and high school students
- Analyze data and prepare comprehensive reports, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop intervention strategies
- Attend eligibility, IEP, and staff meetings as required, offering expertise in student assessments and individualized education planning
- Support the well-being of students through consultation, counseling, and implementation of evidence-based interventions
- Maintain complete and confidential records in accordance with professional and legal standards
