Registered Nurse – Obstetrics

Guaranteed Hours: 40

Requirements:

• One year minimum of acute care experience as an RN
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Certificate, STABLE
• Must be vaccinated for COVID-19 per state mandate

Responsibilities:

• Independently provide holistic, individualized care using the nursing process for patients in the OB unit.
• Demonstrate clinical competency, nursing judgment, and teaching skills.
• Perform general and unit-specific clinical skills for all assigned patient care.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care under the supervision of the charge nurse.
• Manage supplies and equipment while promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel.
• Adhere to hospital policies regarding confidentiality and quality of patient care.
