Heavy Equipment Operator
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our growing construction team in Northeast Houston. The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience operating heavy construction equipment and is dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to assist with general labor duties when equipment operation is not required.
Responsibilities
- Operate excavators safely and efficiently
- Operate dozers
- Operate skid steers
- Perform grading, excavation, backfilling, and site preparation
- Load trucks and move materials
- Perform daily equipment inspections
- Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures
- Read grade stakes and work from site plans when needed
- Assist crew with manual labor as required
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and report maintenance issues
- Work as part of a construction crew
