Excel Staffing Solutions is seeking compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide nursing care at a Children's Detention Center. This is a unique opportunity to work with adolescents in a secure setting while making a positive impact on their health and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing assessments and routine medical care
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and document patient conditions
• Respond to medical concerns and emergencies
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Collaborate with physicians, mental health professionals, detention staff, and other healthcare providers
• Follow all facility policies, infection control standards, and nursing best practices

Qualifications

• Current New York State LPN License
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• Excellent communication and assessment skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
• Correctional or behavioral health experience is a plus but not required
• New graduates with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply
