FULL-TIME FUNERAL DIRECTOR / EMBALMER North Broward County, Florida We are seeking a licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer who is first and foremost a strong arranger and family counselor. The ideal candidate is confident meeting with families, guiding them through the arrangement process, and managing cases from the initial conference through the completion of services. Responsibilities Meet with families and complete funeral and cremation arrangements Guide families through service options, merchandise selections, and personalization opportunities Coordinate services with cemeteries, churches, clergy, vendors, and other service providers Direct funeral, memorial, graveside, and church services Complete death certificates, permits, authorizations, and related documentation Embalm and prepare decedents as needed Manage cases from first meeting through final disposition Provide compassionate, professional, and responsive service to every family Qualifications Current Florida Funeral Director & Embalmer License required Strong arrangement and communication skills are required Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to build rapport and establish trust with families Excellent organizational, follow-through, and case management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid Florida driver's license and clean driving record The Ideal Candidate Enjoys meeting with families and conducting arrangement conferences Is polished, confident, and professional in presentation Can independently handle multiple arrangement conferences each week Understands the importance of exceptional family service and attention to detail Is dependable and committed to maintaining a consistent full-time schedule Understands the importance of teamwork and contributing to overall operational coverage Takes pride in representing a respected independent funeral home Wants a long-term career opportunity with room for growth and advancement Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary ($70,000–$85,000) based on experience, licensure, arrangement ability, and overall qualifications Health insurance assistance available Paid vacation Continuing education assistance Stable full-time position Supportive, professional work environment Private crematory and modern facilities Opportunity for long-term growth and advancement Start date flexible for the right candidate. #J-18808-Ljbffr
