Commercial Cleaner / Janitor (1405)

Key Responsibilities Complete job specifications for assigned buildings. Clean floors: dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up larger objects and spot cleaning glass and windows. Clean restrooms: restocking dispensers, emptying trash, sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals. Empty trash floors and replace liners. Maintain cleaning equipment and order supplies from the office. Monitor and maintain the sanitation and organization of assigned areas, including clean and dirty laundry. Perform additional duties as needed. Utilize the communication book to request consumables and share facility information. Communicate with the Area Manager regarding timekeeping, supplies, and client requests. Requirements Reliable transportation to and from work. Must pass a drug test and background check. Experience cleaning public buildings (Painesville). Compensation & Benefits Pay: $15 hourly. Hours: 17.5 hours weekly (Monday‑Friday, 3.5 hours after 5 pm). Above‑average pay rates for the janitorial industry. Flexibility in schedules. Opportunities for advancement. Performance bonuses.
