Overview Alpha students complete daily academic learning in two hours using self‑guided AI‑powered applications. No traditional teachers, no lectures, no classroom instruction on subject matter. This structure allows you to focus on what genuinely transforms student outcomes: facilitating high‑energy workshops on public speaking, concentration, and feedback; driving students toward complete learning goal achievement using live analytics; and developing Guides who support this model. A typical morning begins with a one‑on‑one Guide coaching session, analyzing performance data and pinpointing cohort challenges. By midday you deliver a live student workshop, executing a structured activity on feedback exchange. Afternoon hours shift toward motivation work—engaging individual students, identifying their personal drivers, and applying Alpha's incentive framework to re‑engage a hesitant 7th grader. You maintain direct oversight of your own cohort, ensuring you remain proficient in the competencies you train others to master. What You Will Be Doing Facilitating one‑hour live workshops on life competencies (public speaking, concentration, feedback exchange) for K‑8 cohorts, following Alpha's structured playbook. Conducting motivation sessions using student analytics and Alpha's incentive framework (school currency, leaderboards) to achieve 100% student goal attainment. Developing Guides on program adherence and standards maintenance, with each session generating concrete performance improvement steps. Managing your own student cohort concurrently with Guide development responsibilities. Monitoring student satisfaction scores, goal completion rates, and Guide performance data weekly to identify underperformance early. What You Won’t Be Doing Instructing or tutoring students on academic content; students learn independently through self‑guided applications. Creating curriculum or developing original lesson plans; the playbook is established and must be faithfully executed. Developing Guides on instructional methods; Guides do not teach, so coaching focuses on energy, motivation, and accountability. Accepting 99% when the standard is 100%; maintaining expectations demonstrates belief in student capability. Serving as the campus emotional safety net; students receive connection alongside honest feedback and meaningful consequences. Leadership Coach Key Responsibilities Fulfill Alpha's three commitments to every student in your cohort: they love school, learn twice as fast as a traditional classroom, and develop real‑life skills. Basic Requirements Willing to work on‑campus at one of the locations listed above; relocation support provided. Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in education, learning and development, coaching, youth leadership, or a comparable field. Track record of leading a team of 5 or more adults, including hiring and making performance‑based termination decisions. Direct experience working with kids aged 5‑14 in an educational or developmental setting. Built, launched, or significantly grew a program, team, business, school, or initiative from the ground up. Proven use of data and metrics to set weekly goals and drive decisions, not just report results. Legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada. Nice‑to‑have Requirements Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Organizational Leadership, or a related field. Coached athletics, led wilderness or experiential programs, directed camps, or ran youth ministry at a scale that required running cohorts and measuring outcomes. Left classroom teaching to build or run programs from a different seat: EdTech, tutoring businesses, youth nonprofits, or school intervention teams. Early‑career track record of high personal performance—academic, athletic, or professional—before moving into leadership. Belief that the current education system is broken and personal investment in rebuilding it.
