Material Handler

Laitram Machinery, Inc. has a position available for a Material Handler. This individual will be a key player in maintaining the accuracy of inventory and communicating with Materials Management Supervisor.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

Responsibilities:

Stage parts for equipment builds prior to start
Maintain inventory accuracy and organization
Transfer incoming stock to storage locations
Perform all necessary transactions w/ Inventory Management Software
Pull parts for customer orders, ensuring order completion
Maintain floor stock of production hardware
Perform all necessary housecleaning duties to maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:

High school diploma
Able to work overtime and weekends when needed
Capable of passing Laitram Forklift Training certification
Capable of becoming proficient with software we use (MAPICS, Sharepoint, etc.)
Fluent in written and spoken English
Self-managed
Team Player
Attention to detail
Ability to recognize when you are falling behind, and adjust work speed to get back ahead
Great organization skills
Must be able to perform the essential job requirements identified in the Functional Job Description for this position, including the ability to lift and move 55 lbs

Desired Qualifications:

Previous experience in Warehouse and/or Manufacturing Environments
Experience in Receiving and Shipping a plus
Worked with manufacturing software and MS Office
