Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 0900-1930 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience required License: RN State License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing - Valid RN State License - Current certifications in BLS and ACLS Description: The Registered Nurse will provide post-anesthesia care for patients recovering from surgery. Responsibilities include assessing patient condition, monitoring vital signs, and managing pain. The nurse will collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal recovery for each patient. Communication with patients and families regarding care plans and recovery expectations is essential. Attention to detail is critical in administering medications and documenting patient responses. The nurse will adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment. Participation in continuous education and training is expected to stay current with best practices.
