Description

• Assess patients of varying age brackets, utilizing a combination of standardized assessments and observational methods.
• Craft tailored treatment plans that cater to both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
• Deliver individualized speech therapy focusing on communication, language enhancement, fluency regulation, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.
• Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team consisting of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, caregivers, and families to devise comprehensive care strategies.
• Provide educational guidance to patients and families to promote ongoing progress outside the clinical environment.
• Engage in occasional inpatient evaluations, ensuring a continuum of care throughout the therapeutic journey.
• Maintain precise and timely records in accordance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines.
• Keep pace with the latest advancements in the field through ongoing education and professional peer interactions.

Education

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), if you are not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days from the start date.
