Locums Internal Medicine Physician

We are seeking a Locums Internal Medicine Physician to provide outpatient coverage in Point Pleasant Boro, New Jersey. This is a six-month assignment with an established primary care practice while the facility recruits for a permanent provider.
Compensation: $150 Per Hour
Position Highlights
Assignment Length: Approximately 6 months
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Setting: Outpatient
No call
Patient Volume: 15–20 patients per day
Join a collaborative team of 3 physicians and 1 advanced practice provider
No procedures required
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive outpatient internal medicine care.
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
Perform preventive care, annual wellness visits, and health screenings.
Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate specialty referrals when appropriate.
Educate patients on disease prevention, wellness, and chronic disease management.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nursing, and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
Active New Jersey medical license required
Current DEA registration
BLS certification preferred
