Attending Staff Physician – Jewish Home of Rochester Attending Staff Physician – Jewish Home of Rochester The Attending Staff Physician is the attending of record for assigned residents. The Attending Physician provides direction and coordination of medical care for assigned long term care (LTC) and short-term rehabilitation program (SRP) residents of the Jewish Home. The Attending Physician is a valued member of the interdisciplinary care team reporting directly to the Vice President of Medical Services / Chief Medical Officer. The attending physician works collaboratively with residents, families, staff, and external providers and services to ensure excellent person-centered medical care. EDUCATION / QUALIFICATION: Doctor of allopathic or osteopathic medicine. Licensed to practice medicine in New York State. Board Certified in family medicine or internal medicine. Added qualifications and/or board certification in geriatrics and/or hospice and palliative medicine are highly desirable. Certified Medical Director (CMD) Certification by the Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medical Association is desirable. #J-18808-Ljbffr
