Role: Brand Strategist Remote – US-Based We are seeking a Brand Strategist who is passionate about marketplace growth and thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. This role is crucial for our clients' success, requiring a deep understanding of what it takes to scale brands on Amazon and/or Walmart. The Brand Strategist will manage a portfolio of small to mid-size brands, collaborating closely with our Advertising, Content, and Strategy teams to implement measurable, repeatable growth strategies. The Brand Strategist reports to the Head of Strategy & Brand Experience and is on a clear career path toward Senior Brand Strategist . What You Will Own & Drive: Serve as the day-to-day strategic partner for a portfolio of brands across Amazon, Walmart, or both. Develop custom, action-oriented strategies to maximize performance across key levers: content, PDP optimization, advertising, search ranking, retail operations, and customer acquisition. Proactively monitor brand performance, identifying priority opportunities and mitigating potential challenges before they impact results. Marketplace Performance & Execution Drive cross-functional execution by partnering with the Advertising and Content teams to deliver tactics that boost visibility and conversion. Analyze and translate complex datasets from critical retail sources (e.g., Ads Console, Seller Central, Vendor Central, Walmart Seller Center, Walmart Connect, Luminate, keyword tools) into actionable optimizations. Expertly diagnose performance issues, including content gaps, catalog health defects, search ranking declines, and competitive threats. Communication & Reporting Lead recurring client calls, strategic reviews, and quarterly business reviews, delivering clear and confident insights. Distill complex marketplace data into simple, impactful, and actionable recommendations for clients. Support strategic financial planning, including forecast creation, growth modeling, and long-term strategic roadmaps. Internal Collaboration & Feedback Collaborate with internal teams to ensure strategic alignment and high-quality delivery across all client initiatives. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Strategy organization by sharing industry trends, client needs, and operational best practices. What You'll Bring: Experience 2–4 years of hands-on experience successfully growing brands and managing accounts on Amazon and/or Walmart. Strong working knowledge of Seller Central, Vendor Central, or Walmart Seller/Supplier Center. Practical experience navigating 1P or 3P marketplace environments , including catalog setup, variation management, buy box mechanics, and content compliance. Familiarity with core advertising products: Amazon SP, SB, SBV, SD, and Walmart Sponsored Search / Walmart Connect tools. Skills & Mindset Highly analytical with proven comfort in managing large datasets and working with KPI dashboards. Exceptional client communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to think holistically across all elements of marketplace success (PDP content, advertising, operations, and retail mechanics). Organized, proactive, efficient, and capable of managing multiple brand portfolios simultaneously. Possesses a curious, solution-driven mindset and is eager to learn from senior strategists.
