Job Description

Job duties include operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing product, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, cleaning equipment and facility, and training on the job. Communication skills and essential functions/skills include the ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions, communicate verbally with customers and co-workers, add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately, make correct monetary change, enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen, and perform motor coordination for precise movements. Work conditions include exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather, in-store temperatures ranging from 36 degrees to over 90 degrees, fumes from food odors, commercial dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces/tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensing includes talking and hearing on the telephone, near and mid-range vision for in-store tasks, depth perception, and differentiating between hot and cold surfaces. Temperaments include directing activities, performing repetitive tasks, working alone and with others, working under stress, meeting quality control standards, dealing with people, analyzing and compiling data, making judgments and decisions. Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, reaching, and hand tasks.
