Job SummaryInspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment. Accordingly, any application for this position that is considered for employment with thyssenkrupp requires successful completion of pre-employment drug testing, which may include testing for marijuana in accordance with any applicable federal, state, and local laws, including but not limited to any such laws in the state of Washington.Job DescriptionKey Accountabilities:Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and similar problems on machinery/equipment and perform timely repairsEstablish appropriate frequency and perform regular preventive maintenance activities on all machinery/equipment in the facilityPerform timely facility/building maintenance and minor repairs, and maintain a clean and safe work areaDismantle defective machines/equipment and install new or repaired equipmentMaintain accurate records of all inspections, tests, and repairsCoordinate and make recommendations on work-related contracts and servicesSupervise outside contractors when needed for mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenanceParticipate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirementsMeets TKMNA Employee Attributes/CompetenciesThe above is intended to describe the general content of and requirement for the performance of this job.
