IT systems engineer - network and cloud expert

Salary: $60,000 - 70,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
• 3–5 years of practical experience in systems engineering or administration
• Proven expertise with Windows Server and Active Directory management
• Preferred certifications such as MCSE or VCP
• Technical skills in:
• - Azure AD / M365 administration
• - Hyper-V virtualization
• - Networking protocols/services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
• - IT ticketing system management and configuration
• - PowerShell or CLI scripting/automation
• - Storage and backup solutions in cloud-integrated settings
• - Familiarity with monitoring tools, configuration management systems, or ITSM frameworks like ITIL

• Maintain and enhance enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage systems, and cloud environments
• Implement system configurations that align with organizational goals
• Conduct regular system monitoring and maintenance
• Ensure high availability of essential services
• Troubleshoot intricate technical issues
• Assist in system upgrades, patches, and lifecycle maintenance
• Keep detailed documentation of system configurations and procedures
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to capture business needs and translate them into technical solutions
• Contribute to infrastructure projects from inception to implementation
• Help coordinate project timelines and ensure deliverables meet operational requirements
• Participate in disaster recovery processes
• Support security best practices and help ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations
