Sr. Associate, Risk (Auto) As a Senior Risk Specialist in Capital One’s Financial Services Data organization, you’ll be responsible for working with business partners to identify and mitigate potential data risks to Capital One. Senior Risk Specialists at Capital One are the front line of defense to ensure our Company remains stable and profitable. They have a high level of exposure across lines of business and have the opportunity to create and implement innovative solutions to identify and mitigate potential risks to the Company. Responsibilities: Data Risk Consulting to one or more Business Areas relative to their business lines and provide advice and guidance as required Develop and leverage key relationships with stakeholders that enable collaboration across the enterprise Monitoring and Reporting of Financial Services Data Management efforts Define and refine controls to effectively mitigate data risk for the division Perform data risk assessment activities in support of business initiatives ensuring data risk is identified and appropriately cared for prior to launch Identify and track events and issues to mitigate data risk to Capital One by coordinating with applicable business areas to define and implement remediation activities Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification At least 2 years of Risk Management experience Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or military experience 1+ year of experience in data governance, data quality management concepts or data quality tools 3 + years of experience in Risk Management 3 + years of experience in project or process management At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. Plano, TX: $87,700 - $100,100 for Sr. Risk Associate Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
