DUTIES

If you're fully licensed, you already know what to expect. But just to cover our bases, you can expect to do the following: Evaluate property and casualty insurance claims by inspecting damages, reviewing policy coverage, and analyzing supporting documentation to determine claim validity and scope. Negotiate settlement amounts with insurance companies, contractors, and other stakeholders to secure fair compensation for clients. Prepare detailed estimates, floor plans, photo sheets, reports, and documentation of claim assessments. Maintain organized records of all claim activities, correspondence, and settlement agreements in our claims management system. Provide exceptional customer service by guiding clients through the claims process with clarity, transparency, and professionalism. Stay current on industry regulations to ensure compliance during claim handling procedures. Florida's property insurance industry is always fluctuating, but it's more important now than ever before. REQUIREMENTS

Valid 03-20 Public Adjuster licensure in the state of Florida. (We are currently out of apprentice slots and are unable to provide apprenticeships at this time.) In lieu of a 03-20 Public Adjuster license, FSPA can assist candidates with 06-20 Independent Adjuster licensure in obtaining their 03-20 Public Adjuster licensureIF they've maintained their current 06-20 appointment for at least six (6) months. Proven experience in insurance claims adjusting. Strong analytical skills to assess damages accurately. Excellent negotiation skills to advocate effectively for clients while maintaining positive relationships with insurers. Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple claims efficiently while adhering to deadlines. Familiarity with claims management software. Outstanding customer service abilities with a focus on clear communication and client advocacy.
