Laboratory Technician

Shift: Mon - Fri, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM – 40 Hours/Week This is an entry-level position in a Manufacturing group that is responsible for producing reagents for in-vitro diagnostic assays. Candidates with limited laboratory experience will be considered. Applicants with industrial experience and knowledge of GMP/ISO will be preferred. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic and professional demeanor. Key Responsibilities Supports production operations with routine stocking, cleaning of manufacturing areas, and other lab support duties. Performs low-complexity manufacturing operations and equipment support, including column maintenance, equipment maintenance, and/or cleaning. Performs glassware washing. Provides material inventory monitoring support. Collaborates with laboratory biochemists to order required buffers to meet the weekly schedule. Supports the Buffer Manufacturing Lab as needed. Conducts 5S audits of laboratories for adherence to cleanliness, maintenance, and organization expectations. Education & Experience B.S./B.A./A.S. in a relevant field or relevant work experience preferred. Candidates with limited laboratory experience will be considered. Industrial experience and knowledge of GMP/ISO are preferred. Preferred Skills & Qualifications The ideal candidate will: Be proficient in time management.
