Neuromuscular/Neurophysiology Specialist
Location: Akron, OH
Our organization is on the lookout for a physician to enhance our expanding Outpatient Neurology Service at the Neurosciences Institute. This position presents a unique chance to engage in neuromuscular or neurophysiology medicine within a fully supported, subspecialty-oriented setting that promotes an excellent work-life balance, along with optional academic participation.
We are part of a larger healthcare system that includes two hospitals and over twenty health centers, making us one of the most extensive integrated healthcare delivery systems in the region. Our medical group consists of nearly 700 dedicated providers working together to foster a healthier community in Northeastern Ohio.
Why This Position is UniqueExclusively outpatient practice, focusing mainly on Neuromuscular and electrodiagnostic evaluations (EMG/NCS).
No overnight shifts, weekends, or inpatient responsibilities.

Board certified or eligible in Neurology.
Fellowship training or experience in Neuromuscular Medicine, Neurophysiology, or Electrodiagnostic Studies.
A current unrestricted medical license or the capability to obtain one for practice in Ohio.
Desire for a stable, outpatient-focused position; interest in mentorship and academic engagement.
A collaborative, patient-centered physician who aims to practice at the highest level of their qualifications.
