Temporary Administrative Assistant (Commercial Real Estate) | San Bernardino, CA
A national owner and operator of premier retail properties is hiring a Temporary Administrative Assistant to support the on-site management office at a regional shopping center in San Bernardino.
Candidates must be located within commuting distance of San Bernardino, CA
About the Role:
This is a fully onsite, front-desk and back-office administrative role supporting a small property management team. You'll be the office's primary point of contact while owning the spreadsheets, contracts, and recurring reports that keep the property running. This is a 3+ month assignment with strong potential for extension or conversion.
What You'll Do:
- Answer phones, greet visitors, and maintain the management office
- Build and update Excel spreadsheets and recurring weekly reports with a high degree of accuracy
- Pull, save, and manage tenant and vendor contracts, including vendor renewals
- Coordinate vendor work permits and collect tenant compliance documents (business licenses, EINs)
- Communicate daily by phone and email with maintenance, security, tenants, and vendors
What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years of administrative experience, ideally in commercial, retail, HOA, or residential property management
- Strong Excel skills with a track record of clean, error-free work
- Yardi experience strongly preferred; Power BI a plus
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Professional phone and email communication skills
- A balance of initiative and curiosity: asks the right questions early, then takes ownership
- Business casual professional presence
Compensation:
$25-$30/hour, commensurate with experience.
Work Setup:
Fully onsite in San Bernardino.
