Sr Project Manager - Defense

As a Senior Project Manager in Advanced Tech/Manufacturing, you will lead complex, highly regulated construction projects in the manufacturing and defense sectors. Responsibilities Lead and manage project teams through all phases of complex manufacturing and defense-related construction projects, ensuring adherence to operational, security, and quality standards. Oversee project execution, financial management, and team development to achieve project goals and company profit objectives. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, subcontractors, and industry partners, representing the company’s commitment to client satisfaction. Manage all aspects of preconstruction and construction, including cost modeling, scope development, and Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) execution. Drive the proposal process, including RFP development and coordination with design consultants to ensure timely and accurate deliverables. Ensure completion of all financial processes, including budgeting, billing, collections, subcontractor payments, change order management, and contract administration. Foster the growth and development of project team members, providing leadership and mentorship throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications 10+ years of experience in construction project management as a general contractor. 3-5 years of experience managing large, complex projects in defense, light industrial, or manufacturing environments. Proven track record delivering design-build projects ranging from 50,000 to 500,000 square feet. Direct experience with highly regulated industrial program environments is strongly preferred. Proficiency with scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project, with the ability to develop and maintain detailed project schedules. Extensive experience managing project budgets and schedules. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop staff.
