Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. This role involves providing specialized critical care to diverse ICU patients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive ICU nursing care to medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurosurgery patients.
• Monitor and operate advanced equipment including ventilators, ECMO devices, and vital sign monitors.
• Perform bedside procedures such as arterial and central line insertions, chest tubes, and airway management.
• Assess patient condition continuously, adjusting care plans to maintain safety and stability.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certification required.
• Prefer candidates with Meditech EMR experience and CVICU/CTICU background.
• Demonstrate proficiency with ICU equipment such as Stryker beds, GE monitors, and Impella devices.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent teamwork skills.
