Radiology - CT Tech

CT TechProfession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:30 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Active license required Certifications: ARRT - CT and R, BLS Must-Have: - Ability to perform CT and X-Ray - Must be able to start IVs, averaging 8-9 IVs a day - Outpatient (Adult & Peds) and ED experience required - PACS and Portables experience required - GE and Siemens experience required - Preferred experience with Samsung X-Ray - EPIC experience required Description: Must be able to perform CT and X-Ray. Work schedule is three 12-hour night shifts, Friday to Sunday. On occasion, may be asked to float to other facilities. Experience with infants and pediatrics is preferred. Required to perform various X-Ray procedures including Extremities, Abdomen/GI, Spine/Pelvis, Head, Chest/Thorax, and Musculoskeletal studies. CT Tech duties include performing Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Brain Perfusion, and CTAs. Experience with various outpatient CT and X-Ray exams is necessary. Cardiac CT experience, including Pulmonary Vein CT and Cardiac Calcium Scores, is required. Skills in 3D rendering, management, and trauma care are advantageous. Must adhere to radiation safety standards.
