Registered Nurse - PACU

Seeking a PRN PACU RN to provide specialized post-anesthesia care. Responsibilities monitoring vital signs, managing airway patency, administering medications for pain and nausea, assessing for complications, and documenting patient responses. Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and nursing staff to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth recovery processes. Provide discharge instructions to patients and families, ensuring understanding of recovery protocols. Qualifications high school diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant nursing experience An active RN license in the appropriate state and specialty certifications are required. Skills effective communication, critical thinking, conflict resolution, and computer literacy are essential.
