Job Description
- Design Personalized Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and create tailored therapy strategies to help them achieve their functional aspirations.
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-supported methods to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily life activities.
- Engage with Multidisciplinary Teams: Collaborate with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide holistic, comprehensive patient care.
- Guide Patients and Caregivers: Offer education to patients and their families on therapeutic techniques that encourage continuous improvement outside of therapy.
- Track and Document Progress: Monitor patient outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients remain on their journey to recovery.
- Earned a degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
- Encouragement and support for continuing education or advanced certifications.
- Holding an active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
- Possession of NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is essential.
