Details Work in the Pediatric ICU within a hospital setting Care for pediatric patients ranging from simple to complex health conditions Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours per week CVICU and NICU experience preferred Requirements Active RN license (Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or multistate compact/eNLC) Current BLS and PALS certifications (AHA only) Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required Level 1 trauma center experience required Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, and techniques Strong verbal and written communication skills Basic computer skills Additional Information Assume responsibility for an assigned group of pediatric ICU patients Document patient responses to nursing interventions and treatments, noting changes in physician orders Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures Monitor physiological data and intervene as needed Administer medications and manage IV infusions and blood products Communicate care plans with patients and families, including discharge planning Delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible Local candidates within the radius will not be considered Compliance documentation must be completed promptly, as start dates cannot be pushed once booked American Traveler Job ID P-748895.
