Northwest Children's Hospital in Amarillo is hiring a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for the Level III NICU. The team consists of a close-knit group of NNPs and Neonatologists supported by a dedicated staff of RNs, RTs, occupational and physical therapists, social workers, and breastfeeding specialists, each trained specifically to work with infants in the NICU. Position Details: 35-bed Level III NICU Average daily census of 23-25 Work schedule: average of seven 24-hour shifts a month NNP may attend high-risk deliveries as assigned Procedures including intubation, insertion of UVC, UAC, and PICC lines Pediatric Hospitalist sees newborns Peds subspecialties in-house: Cardiology, Nephrology, Peds Surgery, Endocrinology Competitive compensation including full benefits package Northwest Children's Hospital provides compassionate care to children and their families with 29 private, spacious inpatient rooms and a 12-bed PICU.
