Phlebotomist Floater

Job Overview Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Brown Deer, WI. Work Schedule Monday – Friday, scheduled hours vary between 4:30am-7:00pm and rotating Saturdays. Work Locations Brown Deer, Oconomowoc, Appleton, West Allis, and Milwaukee, WI Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner Process billing information and collect payments when necessary Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience Additional Job Standards A Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency (if work experience is unavailable) Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Flexibility to work overtime as needed Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test Valid driver’s license and clean driving record with reliable transportation Minimum age of 21 years Compensation and Incentives PST Incentive Plan: quarterly bonus based on performance metrics Float Incentive: Additional $2.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement Benefits Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees scheduled for less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
