The Center for Human Development, (CHD) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurse ( LPN) to join our team at our Crisis Stabilization Unit located in Chicopee, Are you a nurse with a passion for providing exceptional care? CHD's Crisis Stabilization Unit is seeking a full time 2nd shift Nurse, M-F 3pm-11pm to support our outstanding team. You'll be at the forefront of providing critical care to adults and teens during their most vulnerable moments, in a facility that offers crisis intervention, outpatient behavioral health, and brief stabilization services—all under one roof. Essential duties for these roles may include: Collaborating with nurses, physicians, advance practice nurses, psychologists, social workers, or other professionals Collaborating with guardians, relatives, and significant others of people served when clinically indicated Documenting assessments and treatments in the electronic health record Assessment of signs of substance withdrawal and completion of standardized assessment tools such as the Clinical Opioid Withdrawal Scale (COWS, CIWA, CIWAb) Administers medications Engages in a medication reconciliation process Coordinates medical care Contributes to comprehensive assessments Brief crisis counseling Individualized crisis prevention planning Assisting with discharge planning and care coordination. Pay rates: RN pay rate: $45.00/hr RN and $35 LPN.
